Instrument Description

- The turns of a helical coil of the wire wound on a mandrel are pressed together by applying a load and bonded by means of heat or solvent. After bonding, the specimen is removed from themandrel and suspended in a vertical position with a load applied at the lower end to determine whether the specimen withstands a specified load or not.
