Peel Tester

Instrument Description

- A sample of round wire shall be inserted between  two mandrels, one of these is able to rotate, the other one cannot rotate but can be displaced axially, the latter is loaded according to the table to apply tension to the rotating wire.  By means a scraper the enamel is removed on opposite sides of the wire down to the bare conductor.

- The rotating fixing device shall be driven at a speed from 60 to 100 RPM until the number of revolutions required has been reached. The specimen shall then be  examined for enamel flexibility and for adhesion of the enamel.

- Suitable for diameter from 0.9 up to 5.00 mm
